MONTHLY SHOOT RANGE RULES |
|
|
Purpose |
To
promote inter-departmental interaction and exchange of ideas in the area
of firearms. To provide for
scheduled and supervised firearms practice for all Hamilton County and
surrounding law enforcement agencies, including City, County, Federal, and
private police agencies. To
include retired members of these agencies whose wealth of information is
priceless. |

Classes |
1:
REVOLVER CLASS: Must
be a six shot revolver, with a four or six inch barrel.
DUTY STYLE WEAPON is preferred, however, it may have modified grips
and a modified sight system. NO
LASER SIGHTS WILL PERMITTED. |

Each competitor may makeup or shoot ahead for missed monthly shoots.
Only the first 9 scores submitted will be counted. |

NOTE:
The primary consideration of the Range Officer is SAFETY.
The Range Officer must be constantly alert for unsafe conditions.
Any unsafe acts which present an immediate danger must be brought
to the attention of the shooter immediately.
Unsafe acts which do not constitute an immediate danger to others
should be brought to the attention of the participant in a gentle manner
that will not embarrass or alienate him/her. |

Hamilton County Police Associations longest standing committee.For additional information,
