Police Officer Joe Ruchti, CPD Organized Crime Investigative Squad
Topics: Investigation of local gangs via “soft stops”, cell phone search warrants and social media, safety, documentation of stops and investigations, liaison with prosecutor and probation officers and discussion of how gangs are changing in this area. Both instructors have played key roles in successful local gang prosecutions and are currently involved in that type of work.
