The Training Committee is made up of officers from a number of different agencies throughout Hamilton County, including area state police academies, and the FBI. The goal of the committee is to provide quality training to the 1600+ law enforcement officers in Hamilton County. Nationally recognized instructors have presented on training topics such as leadership, crisis intervention, responding to the mentally ill, diversity training, active shooter situations, defensive driving, self defense, firearms-tactical awareness, and Officer Street Survival.
Additionally, Hamilton County is fortunate to have numerous qualified police instructors, academy commanders, adjunct professors, and nationally known speakers on law enforcement topics, working as police officers every day. With the spirit of “Cooperation in Operation”, the HCPA Training Committee provides exceptional training opportunities for every officer in Hamilton County.
